i miss running in the rain.. esp in my school uniform. more exciting you know? hahaha. running to the next shelter for the fun of it. not because we don't have a brolly. running in the rain makes you feel lighthearted and carefree. getting so much joy even though we were all thoroughly soaked, but yet still focused on how much a blast we were having.. than to bother about how people looked at us. not that we didn't know people were scrutinising and judging us.. sneering at us.. labeling us.. but back then, thrill and fun mattered more than pride and image.

we would go up the bus freezing.. and all the adults will just STARE at us.. literally. they wouldn't even shift their eyes off us. just blatantly staring as if we don't know they're talking bad about us. but doesn't matter, we were not alone.

i miss my wilder days hahaha. thinking about all these because i'm turning 18 soon, which means i've to start taking responsibility for my own actions. no more privilege of getting off scott free because i'm no longer a kid. in public eyes, i'm mature enough to make wise, settled and cultured decisions.

which means less fun. or maybe it's just me. i'm just more aware and conscious about what people think of me, as compared to last time.. hahahahaha OH WELL.

so badly sunburnt but you probably can't tell from the picture above. feeling like a snake with my face flaking and peeling and honestly, this is my first time experiencing something like that. quite exciting i must say hahaahha.

BUT THANKFULLY IT IS NOT PAINFUL. everyone complains about the aftermath of being out in the sun without applying sunblock. never experienced it before, and neither do i want to.

missed service today to do a little furniture shopping at ikea but my goodness it was a total flop:( they didn't have the drawers i want, and the loft bed i wanted was gone from display - probably sold out. bought barely anything so the next time i'm going to do any proper revamping will be next feb.. which is 6 months from now.. which is a long long wait.

perk: at least their meatballs were good!!:)

this little girl is too precious, and the surprise above is exactly what i'll do to my daughter next time. i can't wait to grow up, i can't wait to have kids.

but i need money to support them. BAH. so i can't just drop out and be a zookeeper just because i want to. UNLESS of course i get to marry a rich husband;)

anyway, yesterday was a whole lot of fun. playing ball @ beach, soaking in the what-zhehao-calls-pool, chilling at macs, more ball, dinner @ superdog, MAJOR SURPRISE when i was about to leave, MORE SURPRISE when may called me, (so much love in air~~~), david's place, chill with cell, home!!

i'm so terribly sunburnt but i really love days like these. and there's really absolutely nothing that can ever ruin that ecstasy.

anyway!! i think i'm more or less done ridding rubbish off my room. my room looks a lot cleaner now, but i haven't been sleeping on my bed because i insist that the room is still incredibly dusty. i shall only move back in when every other furniture that needs to be replaced, is replaced, and, when the entire room is vacuumed!!

i want to get fairy lights and beanbags.

anyway guys, it's official!! i'm going to revamp my room. i've to decide on what colour my walls should be.. how i'll want my bed to be like (to remain the same or to bring it higher).. and i'm getting new drawers for my study table!! GOOD. i definitely need more storage spaces.

used nippon icolour to help me decide what would be a good colour combination for my room. opinions? of course just look at the walls.. the beds and everything are preset.

so much packing to do!! burying myself in dust recently.
